Well last night on Idol was a shocking 2 hour run of events that included instruments...the musical kind...voices...some not so musical...and lots and lots of blue tongues...pretty funny actually.
Josiah and David Archuletta are the surprises for the guys this year....and the girls..the main surprise is the rocker from Nashville went home....and the girl with a cold stood strong and made it into the top 50...she's one to be reckoned with....Carly, the European girl with the tattoos made it, she was the one from Season 5...
Overall it was a night with too much Bryan Adams....some bad instrument playing, including the drums....(what?)...oh and then there was Simon walking out all together...although it did seem like a long day. I'm not sure if this is the best season of Idol, but there were a lot of changes in Hollywood week, including the second chance..which saved just enough..now we're cutting in half again....from 50 to 24...(Look for a breakdown of the Top 24 on the podcast in the coming days.)
