Idol Thoughts: Top 12 Set...a 'possible' look ahead...

well, we're ready to go....a newly crowned Top 12...including Chikeze, which I am very happy about. Looking ahead the dreaded 'Theme Weeks' stare down all twelve of the contestants square in the eye. The latest podcasts looks at the 'possibilites' of who may be a part of the show this year. I invite you to give it a listen. Idol Thoughts: Top 8 Guys...80s Week...Wake Me Up Before I Whitney...

Last night was an entertaining evening on Idol...you know right off the bat who 'gets' it and who doesn't. I feel for Luke - he had his chances, but I think his ride on the show ends tonight. David Archuletta on the other had knows 'it' and knows it well. His performance and a few others (David Cook, Chikeze, David Hernandez) used their talent to make the song their own.
Unfortunately I feel that with the rough treatment of the judges Chikeze may be going home this evening as well.
Last year we had Sanjaya...this year we have Danny....dude, what's with the purple hair? Did Barney throw up on you in rehearsal? As entertaining as it's been having a guy with tight pants on the stage I think it's time for Danny to go, unless he has the fan base and momentum to keep going.
As we look ahead to the ladies tonight, Kristi Lee is on the radar - she needs to step it up tonight or she is gone...more on this and the David Hernandez 'stripping' saga on the podcast.
